The third Transnational Meeting of the Autism and Sport: Train Social Inclusion project, funded by the Erasmus + Sport program, was held in Jurmala, Latvia. Spring, the partner from Latvia, organized a meeting at Vaivari Primary School in Jurmala, a town near the capital Riga. It is an inclusive school located in the heart of nature. It is surrounded by a dense forest. A short walk through the forest leads to the sandy beach of the Baltic Sea. Most of the school’s sports activities are conducted outdoors, in nature. All school students, including people with autism spectrum disorder, participate in outdoor sports activities, as the activities are integrated into the school curriculum. Ner the school there is a Rehabilitation Center, which includes a space for rehabilitation horse riding. Unfortunately, rehabilitation riding is expensive and often inaccessible to school students, as autism spectrum disorder is not considered a disability in Latvia.
